EAGLES TAME WILD DOGS

Super Eagles of Nigeria defeated the Wild Dogs of Guinea Bissau by a lone goal  away from home to go top of group A table with 9 points and the result from the game between Sierra leone and Sao Tome and Principe doesn't change the standing at the top.

A 30th minute penalty converted by Moses Simon was all the team needed to earn an away victory.

Bright Osayi played so well that the likes of ola aina would struggle to get a shirt back in the team. Bright was the provider of the resultant spot kick.

This important victory has reignited Super Eagles hope of qualifying for the next edition of African Cup of Nations. 

Super Eagles’ seemed to have been in poor shape since last year with many tales of abysmal performances, including the recent home defeat to lowly rated Guinea Bissau.
